With Firefly’s health plan, you’ll be able to get no-cost care for many services including Firefly's virtual primary care, and low cost in-network care if you follow Firefly’s network guidance. If you pick your own in-network providers, you’ll have a copay or a coinsurance. For prescriptions, you’ll have a copay that depends on where the medication falls within the formulary.

The Firefly Health plan is an ACA-compliant health plan structured as a PPO. This means that you will have healthcare coverage for everything, including primary care, specialists, urgent care, medications including birth control, hospitalizations and surgeries.

No! Firefly care services delivered by Firefly Medical Group are free ($0 cost-share) to all Firefly health plan members. There is no ongoing membership fee. Think of it as an included perk — and a more convenient way to get your everyday care.

Primary care is the core of our philosophy — we believe comprehensive, and easy-to-access care is the foundation of a better healthcare system. So on the Firefly plan, any primary care you get through Firefly Medical Group is free to you, making it easier to access. On an employer-sponsored health plan, these costs are passed onto your employer and/or incorporated into the premiums you pay.

It’s an amount you have to pay out of your own pocket before your coverage kicks in. The deductible applies to only certain services. So, suppose you have a $2,000 deductible and you need an MRI that costs $800. If you haven’t paid anything toward your deductible yet, you pay the full $800. And for any other services where the deductible applies, you keep paying out of pocket until you reach that $2,000 mark. (This is just an example. Check your plan documents for your actual costs.)

Note that your plan has separate deductibles for in-network and out-of-network care. If you have dependents on your plan, you also have individual and family deductibles.
